Ask me anything
My dad wasn’t home yesterday and during lunch he asks if something new happened on the news (they watch it every day). Some of the last ‘big things’ they mentioned on the news was the decapitation of James Foley. So my mother replies to my dad ‘luckily no one else was murdered’. This is the point I got a bit mad. I told her that if they don’t show it on the news or in the papers, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen, and about how every day more and more people die horrible deaths in Irak. She nodded like she realised how easily she forgot those things.
